Open letter to Hollins Graduates:

A chunk of me left College today, but I know it’s for the best. To some of the most powerful, intelligent, strong, courageous people I know thank you. Thank you for teaching me how to love myself. Thank you for showing me what it means to be a friend. Thank you for leading me on some of the most beautiful walks I’ve ever experienced. Without your compassion and joy for life I wouldn’t have fallen as deeply in love with you as I have managed. It is on this day that my heart breaks but that I have learned we will always have each other. Even if we do not stay in touch knowing of your pure existence is enough for me to carry on.
